Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

This privacy policy applies to the JuppIt app (herein referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by JUPPIT STUDIOS LLP (herein referred to as "Service Provider") as a free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address).
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and time spent on those pages.
  • The operating system you use on your mobile device.

Account and device information

To let you sign in and connect to your own computers, the Application collects and stores:

  • Your account and sign-in identity — your email address and/or linked Google account.
  • Your list of saved PCs and remembered devices, and the registrations that pair them to your account.
  • Push-notification registrations for your devices (used for features such as Find My Device).
  • Unattended-access host registrations owned by your account, including their access passcodes.
  • Usage meters and session activity records, such as connection history.

This account and device data is stored using Google Firebase on the Service Provider's behalf. You can permanently delete all of it at any time — see Account & Data Deletion below.

Camera Access

The Application requests permission to access your device's camera.

  • Purpose: The camera is used solely to scan QR codes.
  • Data Handling: Images captured by the camera are processed locally on your device for the stated purpose. The Application does not capture, store, or transmit any photos or videos from your camera to external servers without your explicit action and consent.
  • Consent: You will be asked to grant permission before the Application accesses your camera. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device's settings.

Screen Sharing, Files & Remote Control

The core purpose of the Application is to let you view and control your own computer and transfer files between your devices. To be clear about how that data is handled:

  • Screen images, audio, keystrokes, mouse input, and file contents are streamed directly between your own devices (peer-to-peer) and are encrypted in transit.
  • The Service Provider does not record, view, or store your screen content, audio, keystrokes, or transferred files on its servers.
  • When a direct connection is not possible, traffic may be carried through a relay server that only forwards the already-encrypted data; it is not stored or inspected.
  • To unlock a computer remotely, your PC password is encrypted on your device and used only for that connection. It is never stored on the Service Provider's servers.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help improve the Application. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

Website Analytics

Our website (juppit.app) uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are visited and which website referred the visit. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser for this purpose. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application. If you'd like them to delete data you have provided, please contact them at admin@juppit.app.

Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your JuppIt account and all data associated with it — your sign-in identity, saved PC list, device registrations, and activity records — at any time using the account deletion page. Deletion is immediate and permanent; you do not need the app installed. If you cannot sign in, email admin@juppit.app from the account's email address and the request will be processed within 30 days.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent becomes aware that their child has provided information without consent, they should contact the Service Provider at admin@juppit.app.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.

The Application and this Service are provided by JUPPIT STUDIOS LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India. This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may exercise your rights over your personal data — including access and deletion — by contacting us at admin@juppit.app or via the account deletion page.
